superdrug BFP, clearblue and first response BFN. Which to believe?

Clear BFP on superdrug this afternoon. BFN on clearblue digital and first response this evening.

Is there any possible way superdrug could be false positive??

I have DC2 16weeks fully breastfed no supplements and no period and we used condoms and we haven't had that much sex!

tis far more unlikely to get a false neg than a false pos.

My bet is that the evening urine was more dilure therefore less sensitive

If you're still unsure, test again with FMU and then step away from the tests

Hope you get the result you would like.

I had this the other day! Still do not really know, although guessing i am not pg
I am going to test again next week, to be sure.
I have heard that you cannot get a false positive though, and also that ClearBlue are not that sensitive, and to use First Response (which is not very helpul to you!)
Can you test again tomorrow? Maybe it is a bit early.

id say the same as liahgen and try again with your morning wee. if you've been drinking alot to make you wee for the evening test your wee is going to be very dilute, especially if you arent very far along pg wise.

sage advice if I could just sleep. BFP is a bit of a disaster on all fronts but one we would / will end up loving I suspect. Two bed flat with mortgage DD1 2.8, DS1 16 weeks and a real need for two incomes. So probably best if BFN

perhaps but sometimes life just chucks us a random card and a bit later on we realise it was for a reason. Sorry maybe not what you wanted to hear.

Get a FR and test first thing in morning. Don't drink excessively as someone else said.

Good luck.

Well we tested again. 'first wee' A first response negative and a clearblue negative. Still wondered about the superdrug one so sent DP out for more superdrug ones and I've done one and its positive.

So I'm either very early pregnant or have had a symptomless miscarriage and picking up left over hcg or maybe perhaps according to google I could have an ovarian cyst.

I think I'm pregnant and first response and clearblue are just crap.

We are panicking about money and space and a bit embarrassed. I'm irish so the whole irish twins slagging is going to be awful.

BUT we love our kids and how could we be sad about another one from the same mould as such.

Off to docs monday to try and get a clearer picture.

going to continue this on my other thread as in my panic I posted left right and centre and broke all mumsnet ettiquette
