Anyone bought maternity wear from Seraphine? Would appreciate your views.

I've seen Seraphine mentioned in quite a few threads and was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about the range. Did you think anything was missing? Price? Sizing? Quality/comfort of clothes? Particular item that was fab?

Sorry to sounds like a market researcher (I'm really not, I promise). Will reveal my reasons for asking at a later date!

Any feedback hugely appreciated.

I've bought a few things from them. They are a bit more expensive than high street but the stuff is good quality. Trousers and jeans fit well and are comfortable, tops tend to be on the large size around the bust for me, so won't order any more.

Had a couple of delivery issues with the very first order, but subsequent orders have been OK.

I bought a lot from them early on in my pregnancy and have found the stuff to be great. My best buys were black work trousers that were very flattering and a pink wraparound top that has served me well throughout the pregnancy. They are pricyish but nothing like Isabella Oliver and in my opinion the clothes are better quality than most of the stuff around.

I did go to the shop in Hampstead though so avoided any delivery orders.

Thank you!

That's interesting - are they cheaper than Isabelle Oliver? I thought they were about the same level. Is the shop in Hampstead nice?

Bubbles - I used to have the bust problem a lot in pregnancy too. While the B/C cup that I went up to was pretty damn huge for me, it was never really enough to fill maternity tops designed for spectacular norkage. Gizboss's wrap top sounds like a good buy for that.

bumping for women with bumps

I think they're quite a bit cheaper. The Isabella Oliver stuff looked beautiful on the website and I saved for a couple of pieces but when they came everything was made of weird material and just didn't look that nice, I sent everything back - just my experience. The Seraphine shop is lovely, it's not huge and is kept quite warm for pregnant ladies but has a great range and helpful staff. They even have a fake bump which you can try on if you are still early in the pregnancy so that you can see how the clothes will stretch later on - great fun!I have a biggish bust normally so didn't have any issues with the tops but would definitely recommend the bottoms - I also tend to wear tops with vest tops underneath which might solve the problem if you are big or small.

IO is really expensive, and all the materials are synthetic. That's put me off ordering from them completely.
