Pregnancy

Weirded out by this...

I am a grown woman with two children. I'm not a nut job. However, despite not actively trying to get pregnant... and despite having regular, proper periods (last one has just ended)...and despite getting a BFN when my last period was a few days late....I keep feeling funny little movements like you do when you're pregnant.

I am not imagining it. I swear it.

It's starting to freak me out...

yeh i get that now and then, it's just wind i think.
i reckon you always get it when you have wind, but until you have had children you never know much much like baby movements it is, and then you notice it a lot moe

No!

I keep thinking 'it must be wind', but sometimes I feel a proper little movement, like a tiny kick, and then spend the next hour asking myself if I really felt it....

I can't be the only person in the world to ever have felt this...can I?

wind?

the digestive tract gets a bit looser and saggier after the stain of pregnancy bending it out of shape (and kicking it repeatedly) and gases can feel alot more bubbly and popping.

i've found since having ds2 it's gotten very bad indeed, feels like somethings crawling around in there sometimes

people can still get periods while pregnant, although have no idea what BFN is, why don't you do a test?

That's quite normal! I still felt 'kicking' for a good few months after giving birth to my third child. I don't feel it anymore now though - ds is nearly 1 year old.

I think it's to do with the why the blood circulation changes during pregnancy.

It is wind, i asked my doctor.

Apparently after having children you becoe in tune to any movements in your womb area, tiny little bubbles of air float about and pop making a baby flutter feeling, its wierd isnt it.

No, you are not alone. I felt similar things when definitely not pregnant.

But, I only started feeling it after my first baby was born, never before.

So I wonder if it is something that happens after you've had a baby, maybe you grow new nerves down there or something so that things you wouldn't have felt (such as wind passing through there) you do feel now.

But know what you mean - exactly like little kicks

Oh, sorry Titsalina - I just read your post - so I was sort of on the right tracks then

Yes, but if they are definite little kicks, not flutters or early-movement-sort-of-movements, you still may be pregnant. Period while preggers is def possible and the tests will stop showing a pos after a while because the early preg hormone which the test is for is replaced after a while (def by the time you have movement) with other hormones the test doesn't react to.
Off to the gyn with you. :-)

I sometimes get this, only really started after my 2nd was born almost 3 years ago. I did 3 negative pregnancy tests and am definitely not expecting unless I am having the longest pregnancy in history!

Well then, to say it with Kenneth Graham: the doctor will tell you that you are crazy, and that will cheer you up.

You're not the only weird one. Odd though

That sounds rude doesn't it. What I meant to say was that I also have these feelings when I am not pregnant. Having had 6 pregnancies I'm always amazed with myself that I can misinterpret the feelings and convince myself that they could be a pregnancy. I should know by now how baby movements feel...?

It makes me feel weird anyway.
