Early scan... and everything OK

Just wanted to share my happy news as I was following the early scan thread last week.

I have been bleeding for the last two weeks (dark, every day) and they couldn't scan me as I wasn't at 6 weeks until today. Anyway, I went today and everything was fine, in fact more than fine as it turns out I'm actually 9 1/2 weeks - the "period" I had at 23 days was just more preg bleeding.

I had not really been feeling pregnant for the last week, so didn't think it would be OK. Felt like I was waiting for the results of an exam I already knew I had failed.

I know I am really lucky, but just wanted to reassure other people who have bleeding that it's not always the worst news.

I'm glad everything is ok - have they said why you could be bleeding?

Awwww so happy everythings ok!!! Congratulations!!! I have my scan in 2 weeks, so excited!!!

The scan is amazing - I always find other people's scan pics confusing and a bit boring TBH but its wonderful to see it moving and its heart beating.

Got my scan next friday, I'll be 6weeks 5 days I think. Sooo nervous! No bleeding yet (touch wood) but aches and pains in my tummy so really hope its all ok. congrats radio4!
