Painkillers in Pregnancy - Please help!

You can take Paracetamol if you need it. Have done so myself in previous pregnancies and a couple of times this time around too.
Avoid Ibuprofen.

I've taken paracetamol when I've had headaches. Check with the pharmacist about dosage and tell them you are pregnant. Also drink plenty of water - you may be dehydrated.

Paracetamol is perfectly safe, even in early pregnancy. You can take the usual adult dose ie 1g 4x daily.
Avoid anti-inflammatories is Aspirin, Ibuprofen etc.
Codeine can be taken but is not licensed in pregnancy.
