Hey ladies,

I am new on here but need your advice I am now 31+3 days and having tightenings and a few pains. The other week i was admitted into hospital at 29+6 because the docs thought i was going into preterm labour, but I had all the drugs and I settled down. Not sure now if i should contact my midwife because I am getting niggles and pains and tightenings but feel fine in myself and questioning if it will be a waste of time due to last time!!!

Please advise (hmm)

Am certainly no expert but - call, and do it now, you will not be wasting their time and you weren't before - who knows if it would have settled down on it's own or if it was the drugs.

If your midwife has left call the hospital and ask to be put through to the ward you were on last time - someone there will be able to advise you.

In all likelyhood it will be nothing but please do call and get advice from someone who really knows what they are talking about and knows your history.

Good luck smile

I'd call just to be safe. If you can't get hold of your midwife directly, call the Labour Ward you're planning on birthing at, they will have someone on duty you can talk to.

(By the way, am due the week after you, are you on the Due In November thread yet?? Can't remember if I've seen you there!!)

Hope everything is okay
