eat your tea early, 4 hours before bed at least. Get to LOVE gaviscon! and same as what salleroo says. Bland potato and pastas are not so irritating, creamy things goodto (anything that is alkaline to counteract the stomach acid)
You need lots of yogurt as it will neutralise the acid in your tummy.
I was told thin by a nice little indian doctor who caught me naked kneeling on some towels whilst heaving from the acid, coughing from the burnt larynx from bringing up the acid and peeing myself all the the same time whilst heavily pregnant with DS! (Oh the humiliation!)
