I am beginning to worry if this is normal. I lost about 5-6 lbs with MS and am I still a pound under my start weight. Slim to start with, face now noticeably thinner, can see some kind of bump but it is definitely not v. big.

Is this normal or should I worry? I eat when hungry, aim for healthy stuff and go for walks for exercise (otherwise get hideously constipated - TMI!)

Hello!

Keep doing what you are doing As long as you are eating, it should all be fine. Remember that the baby takes what it needs to grow, so it's you who loses out rather than the baby if you lose weight, so try not to worry about that!

I am exactly the same as you. I lost about half a stone with MS and have only now got back up to my pre-pregnancy weight at 27 weeks. I asked the midwife about it a couple of weeks ago, and she said not to worry, it is mainly the third trimester where you should put on the majority of weight.

I hope I've reassured you a little bit!

I am 18 weeks today and dont even look pregnant as i also have not put any weight on. it is very worrying and the constipation is natural as your system slows down now.

Hey ladies x

My DS is now 6months old and I was exactly the same.

It is totally frustrating I know but I was size 6 when I found out and until 28/30 weeks I was still in normal tops then one day I went to bed and the next day was a nightmare cause my boobs and belly seemed to have exploded!! ha ha ha Looked like I'd had a boob job and was hiding a football.

There is a silver lining to this too, 1week after having him I was back in skinny jeans and I hadn't got a single stretch mark x

Sounds normal to me, this time I lost weight with MS and it took until about 23 weeks to get back to pre-pregancy weight (although still couldn't wear normal jeans from 12 weeks!). Sadly all gone downhill since then so make the most of it

Yes it sounds fine - you have put weight on anyway, since you lost it, haven't you?

I've done this will all four of my pregnancies Very time I'd lost 1- 15.stone by 12 weeks. I used it as an excuse to eat lots of cake and pudding for the next 6 months Babies were between 7lb 8oz and 8lb 2oz so ok weights.
