I am four weeks +1 day pregnant and full of a horrible stinking cold. Is there anyting that I can take to make me feel better? My very well meaning colleagues at work are offering me sudafed, daynurse, nurofen etc, but obviously I don't want to take any of that - any suggestions much appreciated!

Paracetamol only. Honey and lemon drinks. Steam.

Feel better soon.

Steam, steam, steam. Towel over your head, nice big bowl of hot water. Just stay under there as long as you can.

It is rotten but don't worry, it'll be well in the past before you know it

oil of olbas and vicks chest rub are ok - I think (read back of pack). If you're only inhaling to improve congestion I would have thought these were fine. Also plain boiled sweets may help your throat, or squash made with hot water.
