I just don't feel pg at all, my nausea and symptons seem to have disappeared.......anyone else had this? Should I be thankful that I'm not throwing up or should I be worried?

Worrying won't help a bit. You could phone MW and ask for her advice. I imagine you could pay privately to get an early scan which might well put your mind to rest.

Personally I'd be grateful, I had dreadful MS .

I'm exactly the same, at 7 weeks 5 days. One day I'm worring because I feel fine and the next I'm feeling nauseous and chuffed to bits. It's all wrong!!

mumto I know this is crazy.....I hate being sick but now I wish I was upchucking constantly

I have an early scan at 7 weeks and know that bean has a heartbeat but still feel worried about lack of symptons, I think I will phone my midwife tommorrow....but I just feel she will laugh and tell me to count myself as lucky!!

When did the nausea start? It may go away for a day but can come back - it happened to me!

If you are worried, call NHS direct.

If you have any bleeding, call your surgery and get the out-of-hours answering service.

I have had nausea pretty much the whole time I think that's why I am so worried....I had a MMC im May so that's playing on my mind......this is such worrying game!!!

If the heart beat has been detected there is only 5% chance of miscarriage, apparently. Nausea tends to come and go, I'd simply enjoy the break you're now getting. If there is no pain, bleeding or back pain, there is also nothing to worry about.

hoops997 · 23/08/2009 14:33

thanks Miia.....yes I read that about the 5% chance after HB detected, I don't have any bleeding, pain or anything I just feel normal......

hoops, I too had an early scan following a miniscule amount of dark brown blood and heartbeat was present. Doctor told me not to worry and even if I had any simlar bleeding not to worry about having to come back as the likelihood now was that everything would be fine.

My BF is 22 weeks and only threw up twice in the first 12 weeks, so she had the same worries.

I just think we should probably count ourselves lucky that we are not suffering too much, although the uncertainty this causes is almost as bad as the side effects we are not experiencing anyway!

My dating scan is in 3 1/2 weeks, so I really can't wait for that to put my mind fully at rest.

my early scan was for a lot of bright red blood...it was pouring out of me sorry for TMI but I was scared to death......but bean measured exactly for dates, I have my dating scan on 1st Sept, not long to wait but it's absolute torture...bleeding stopped as quickly as it started, told that I was going to be one of those women who would bleed!!

It's crazy how different everyone is, my little sister is 33 weeks and she threw up about 8 times every single day for the first 8 weeks.....needless to say she thinks that I am very lucky!!

I had absolutely NO nausea or sickness this pg !!.

All other children I was terribly sick, from word go...
but I had no sickness....and this time I was so worried...
I had an early pg scan....to put my mind at ease when I was 7-8 weeks ......
and they found 2 babies !!!!

couldnt believe there was no sickness....yet 2 babies !!!

spent the next few weeks petrified something must be wrong....!!!
expecting to not make it past the 3 month mark.
yet here I am 32 weeks with 2 very healthy babies.....

had a bout of sickness for couple of weeks from 20 weeks tho...
and also bouts of sickness now towards the end !!! (so making up for it !!)

but dont worry....lack of sickness doesnt mean diddlysquat !

I would avvise an early scan though....as otherwise you will be needlessly worrying every day & night ......

hoops I'm the same, no nausea or tiredness just a little light-headed and weak. I'm 8 weeks today. I know where you're coming from I would be reassured if I felt sick silly though it seems. There's not long to wait til your scan. I haven't got date through yet.

I think after a MMC it is easy to terrify yourself too. I was like that last time I was pregnant - terrified when not feeling sick (or feling sick and rubbish). Drove my husband up the wall, haha! But everything was fine and baby now very noisy 16 mth old

Oh hoops, it's so worrying, I bled for 5 weeks solid with my dd, she's now 3. I was constantly thinking the worst. I know it's really hard, but do try and relax.

Don't know if this will help, but I have a friend who bled every month (around her cycle) for the first 3-4 months, she's now just about to drop with a healthy little one, but worried like hell all the way through. My mum says it doesn't stop when they are 35!...

Hello - I am 9 weeks tomorrow and up until about 6 days ago I was exactly the same - I had NO symptoms - I have then felt very sick for the past 3 days. My sister is now 21weeks and was exactly the same - no sickness until 8/9 weeks then quite bad for 3 weeks. Just because you aren't ill yet doesn't mean you won't get any morning sickness!!

Hoops,

Good luck for tomorrow. The same kinda thing happened to me, my first pregnancy I was ill from 4 weeks to 7 months, horrendous, but this time, 9 weeks so far and no symptoms, absolutely nothing.

I had a lot of lower abdominal pain and some spotting a few weeks ago and got early scan at 7 weeks, strong heartbeat detected. But still no symptoms so still can't help but worry!

I have my fingers crossed for you tomorrow!
xx
