Photocopying/Scanning the scan pics?

I know they say you can do this but wondered if anyone had actually dared. They say not to laminate because of the heat, but I wondered if copying exposed the pic to heat? Would hate to lose it!

Dh scanned ours in and they've been fine.

its fine. scanning and photocopying is not a problem. I just did mine yesterday

Scanning doesn't use any heat, photocopying might do.

I scanned mine with no problems at all, I also took a picture of the second lot with a digital camera. It didn't come out as well though.

If you scan them at a high resolution, you can print them out on photo paper and pretty much have as many copies as you like anyway...
