Strange discharge

Okay this is a really embarrasing question. I have had this discharge and am not sure what it is. About twice a day around half a teaspoon (maybe less) of liquid leaks out. It is creamy, but very very thin, so more like water than anything else. I'm not wetting myself I don't think, as it doesn't feel like that. I don't notice till I walk around and then realise I'm damp. It doesn't smell much (maybe a bit acidic, but that's it). And I am not itching or anything or burning.
As you can imagine I am worried that it is amniotic fluid. But the baby feels like (s)he's moving okay... does anyone have any advice? By the way I'm 21 weeks pregnant.

If you are unsure mention it to your midwife, but it is really common to have a lot of discharge during pregnancy. It was the only time i HAVE EVER HAD TO USE DAILY PANTYLINERS!!! (whoops caps lock, not shouting!!)
Any itchin?

I had the worst discharge ever when I was pregnant, if it was amniotic fluid it would be clear/straw coloured and just like water...what you're getting sounds just like what I got... I had to wear pads after about 20 weeks it was so embarrassing!

No - not at all itchy. I am mostly worried because it is so thin and liquidy. You know discharge is normally a bit sort of creamy (sorry to be so graphic!). But this is sort of as liquidy as milk. Is that normal?

Mine could be milk like....but then again it could be all stringy and yuck as well... it varies a lot!

Thanks so much! That is really reassuring. It is just that I have never had a discharge as liquidy as this before. I'd better get some panty-liners!

Would you say that if it was amniotic fluid, other bad stuff would be happening? And would it be a lot more?

Sorry to be so paranoid!

Sounds just like mine was. I personally wouldn't worry, there is no real colour to amniotic fluid, just mention it at your next ante-natal to put your mind at rest.

Hi there. I have had a lot of discharge during pg too (am now 37 weeks), and it was definitely (often) thinner than normal. If it smells acidic, then that's probably a good sign - vaginal discharge should have an acidic pH, whereas amniotic fluid doesn't.
