Yes - if you mean lochea. Not as much as a VB though.

Yes. The placenta is about the size of a dinner plate so it leaves quite a wound site.

I bled for 6 weeks or so.

Yes - no experience of a normal birth but I suspect the amount of bleeding is quite similar.

Both times I bled quite heavily for at least 3 weeks.

I had pretty light bleeding, didn't need maternity pads, normal Always were sufficient. It lasted about 4 or 5 weeks iirc.. after a couple of days it was like a light period.

I bled for about 5 weeks but always light bleeding. Nothing like the REALLY heavy bleeding I got after normal birth!

I bled after my CS, can't remember if it was worse or better than my natural births tho... although I do remember bleeding for about 8-10 weeks

I had the same amount of bleeding after my CS as I did after my Vbac. .

I also wondered about this stupid question prior to my first section.

The answer is yes, and it was roughly the same amount as following my vaginal delivery.

WHY ARE YOU ASKING LOTS OF RANDOM QUESTIONS, ALL IN CAPITALS, LUCAN?
