Where do I start?!!!!!
At 32 weeks I had a growth scan after which I was diagnosed as polyhydramnios - too much amniotic fluid. My blood pressure was low but had jumped up a little and there was protein in my urine. Some more blood samples were taken and I was told they would be in touch if needed - I haven't heard anything so assume all ok and not developing pre-eclampsia. I went back last Monday to have another scan which confirmed my baby has a cyst on her ovary that they hope will disappear before or shortly after birth. I am being referred to a paediatrician about this who will be present at the birth. I see my consultant again and have another growth scan this Wednesday.
The baby is alos big - at 32+5 was 6lbs 6oz. This is my 2nd baby, my DD was born normally 40+6 and weighed 7lb 7oz. I am 37.
I have no idea what to expect next, will I need to be induced or have a c-section? I am going out of my mind with worry.
Thanks for any help you can give, Jane
