Cat pee on our strawberry plants! Toxoplasmosis??

I'm not sure if this is the right section for this question but will give it a go anyway.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have noticed our neighbour's cat peeing regularly on our strawberry plants! We have a bumper crop of strawberries but I'm too afraid to eat them for fear of toxoplasmosis. How can I wash them to get rid of any remnants of cat pee? I'm not sure if cold water would be enough...

I thought the risk was from poo.

its poop you have to worry about and not all cats have it

If I remember I researched this subject on my last pregnancy and to be honest Toxo is so rare, it does come from poo but if you do a bit of research on google you'll be able to answer this, however a lot of what is printed is just "cut and pasted" from other sites and isnt at all scientific. I'm sure your strawberrys are perfectly safe.
