Would I be tired if only one week pregnant?

DD is 17 months (almost)

Stopped taking the pill 2 weeks ago, only had sex twice since them (am married )

I feel awful very very tired, pregnancy test was negative (I got pregnant within a week of coming off the pill last time, lucky that time) .

Just wondering whether this extreme tiredness, literally sleeping during my toddlers naps (!) Not done that since she was a newborn, could be pregnancy related? And would a test even show positive after only a few days?

I don't think I was even pregnant at "one week pregnant" according to the LMP dating method

With my first pregnancy I did get extremely tired when I must have been up the duff but before I knew and had tested.

Were you tired last time? Does it feel familiar?

Maybe you could do one of those fancy tests that can tell you if you're pregnant straight after you have sex. I'm pretty sure there are ones that are very sensitive and can tell earlier than the cheapo Boot's ones I've used.

You could be. Technically according to the counting thing 1 week after conception is 3 weeks pregnant cos they count weird.

There's a thread today on 'if you were on the pill' and quite a lot of people seemed to conceive straight after coming off. Congratulations if you are, and if you want to be

Or you could have a low-level virus making you feel tired. Plenty of other explanations.

I used to get tired like this before a period. Maybe your body is just objecting too being off the pill and you are going too get a period. OTOH you may be pg.

I knew I was pg with ds long before I took a positive test because I remembered the bone aching tiredness from when I was pg with dd. There's no other tiredness like it ime. Good luck

At a wedding next weekend so need to know really before I drink copious amounts of red wine and gin!

It could be my bodys response to coming off the pill, ovulating again? I dont think that you ovulate on the pill?

Anyway time will tell. I need this dress to fit by next weekend.

It sounds silly but I am not sure if I remember just how tired I was last time. I used to sleep a lot then but had time on my hands that time!

I knew almost from the second I conceived DS2. Just a general weirdness which I remembered from DS1.

You are hyper-fertile when you first come off the pill, aren't you? Test might work, but not sure, I think I had a negative a few days after, before I got a positive...
