I felt dreadful at 16 weeks and I had some cramping & spotting. I distinctly remember sobbing "and I'm 16 weeks pg" to the receptionist in A&E.

All was fine, 18 week old dd is crashed out on my knee as I type.

My midwife told me that this sort of thing can happen when your placenta takes over (or words to that effect).

Can you go and be monitored for peace of mind?

I hope all is well.

Hi Belgianbun I have had lots of twinges low down this week - my trusty book says this week is one of huge growth, uterus wise, and it has to do a lot of expanding. I am sure it's just that. Am also feeling v tired, run-down and generally crap!

Hi belgianbun glad you are feeling a bit less pants!
Chest infection rubbish, I can't believe how depleted my immune system apparently is - I am eating so much fruit and veg and trying to be healthy, but my body is having none of it!
