Know this isn't what you want to hear, but I'd advise that you go watch a movie, it might be a false alarm...

Tbh I think you just have to wait until the baby is ready to coe out. You can try pineapple, cury, sex etc but it's unlikely to work before the due date if it is your first.

Thought the same... you can't accelerate something that isn't ready....

oh no! Sadly no symptoms - except braxton hicks, but they arent painful, so i know it isnt the real thing.. just living in hope!!! Am huge and just want baby out asap!!

Forget you're pregnant and enjoy last few days before weeks of sleepless nights

oh, i wish, Cant sleep at night, too uncomfortable, too many trips to loo for a wee and no rest during the day with a 2.5 yr old about...

exactly, they are a damn sight easier to look after while they are still in there.

why do people always advise you to "make the most of the last few weeks of freedom and sleep" at the end of pregnancy? There's nothing like lack of sleep, discomfort and inability to go far from home (certainly not alone) to make you want that baby OUT!!!!!!!

dabihp, I had loads of BH for about three days before; they weren't painful, but then I'd get the odd one that ached a bit. I went into labour 2 weeks early. Turns out the bh were probably the first stage of labour getting going. Don't want to get your hopes up though...

Mostly, honey, they come when they're ready.
