Hey
Just wondering if anyone out there has a Micralite Toro with the carrycot? I think this is the pram/buggy for me and would like to know if I should go ahead and order it? All opinions appreciated. Thanks!

I love mine.

It is really light and easy to push and folds really easily and fairly compactly. All my bugaboo owning friends were green with envy when they saw me fold it in one slick action and how little space it took up in the boot.

(you will have to take the carrycot off separately to fold it to begin with tho )

The downsides are:

It is a bit flimsy feeling, but that's the trade off with the lightness.

It doesn't rear face in buggy mode.

The bar is a bit of a pain as you can't take it off while the child is in the pram.

Apart from that is it fab!!!

Thanks Trixy! Appreciate it. I live in a flat so need something light, also will be using buses and tubes quite a bit so I reckon it will be good for that too.

It stands unsupported when folded so won't take up a lot of space in a flat. It will be dead easy to gte upthe stairs either folded or bumping up them on the big back wheel.

Another downside is the small basket, but that has never bothered me.

Hi,

I am 6 months pregs and looking at buggies. I quite like the Micralite toro although I am tempted with the new Bugaboo bee especially cause of the parent-facing option.

What do you think? Are you still happy with tthe Micralite?

I am quite short, and live in London which means I will be travelling on the buses / trains quite a lot so need something that is easy to fold and lightweight to carry.

Don't forget to check the pushchair reviews on mumsnet. There are a couple of favourable reviews up there for the Microite Toro Good luck !
