oh I hear you honey... I'm also 27 weeks and I'm also really uncomfortable all of a sudden! This lovely little child is pushing sooooo hard on my bladder, i feel like she's trying to escape!
Let me know if you find a magic cure...

Perhaps its just the position the baby is in at the moment and it will ease off. But is it possible that you have an infection? You could drop off a sample to the midwife/Drs first thing just in case.

musthave it really doesnt feel like infection but i think your right about baby position as i feel baby kicks right in the bladder.

kittycat thats exactly how it feels omg i can believe there is possibly another 13 weeks of this to go!

My sympathies. I have struggled with irresistible toilet urges throughout this, my second pregnancy (due on Friday - hurrah!). Bit different to you, as I was bad at the beginning, eased off slightly in the middle, and am truly terrible again. There's nothing worse than the feeling 'I'm going to wee myself'. I get so hot and bothered. Strangely, I always get this way shopping in Sainbury's. The people in the cafe (near the loos) must be thinking 'not her again'! My doctor said there was no infection. He was most unsympathetic and said it's just the way the baby's laying.

Me too ! 28 weeks and feel like my LO is lying very low and very uncomfortable... I think I am wearing a hole in the office carpets trailing to the ladies...

Snap! I'm 29 weeks and for the last month this baby has been using my bladder as a trampoline!

It's usually at its worst while walking. I've found that if I do a few pelvic floor exercises and then actually try to relax my muscles down there (obviously not so relaxed that you wee!) then sometimes the baby will move a bit.

I totally sympathise - it's driving me NUTS !!!

I am feeling your pain!!! am 25+3 and am up every 2 hours in the night - its killing me. I did have a UTI but have just finnished my antibiotics and all other symptoms have gone away so dont think its that.

It feels like such a cruel twist of fate that the last few weeks you get of sleeping like a proper person and you cant because you are at the mercy of your bladder. The bags under my eyes are really attractive too
