30 weeks and leaking, but is is aminotic fluid or just normal gooey stuff......?

Hi All and happy new year...
Reached the 30 week mark yesterday and whilst feeling generally good and plump, i woke up in the night and well lets just say i thought i'd wet myself! I don't think it was waters breaking as nothing else since and it was just quite damp when I checked (sorry!).... should i seek a GP opinion before my routine 32 week appointment or does this sound pretty normal, seems okay now and nothing more leaking but worried it is sometihng that should be staying where it is!! Any help greatly appreciated..

See doc or midwife - they can do a simple and quick check to see if waters or not.
