Im 32wks and baby feels like it's spinning and twisting and turning at times. The kicks I can handle but this just feels WIERD and very strong. I don't remember ds moving like this, and my imagination is working overtime! Is this normal?

I remember that with my felt like my belly was a washing machine forever set on spin! Don't hesitate to ask your midwife if it's getting to you though, asking her won't be wasting her time if it puts your mind at rest

I'm 37 wks and it still sometimes feels like a washing machine on spin.
It was the same with my DD

Thanx, esp. trinityrocks because i was going to actually use the description "like a washing machine" and just didnt want to sound too dramatic iykwim. I have all these visions of a tangled up baby.

my ds was exactly the same. he actually really hurt me at times! other times i felt ill cos he was kicking and twisting and generally flailing about all over the place!

it just gets worse!

same here - I'm 33 weeks with ds2 and he's doing somersaults and really pushing his legs out especially in the evenings - makes me very lop-sided. Can't help thinking of 'face-hugger' in Alien when it's really bad! I think it's normal, ds1 did the same.

i'm 36 weeks pg (don't know if it's a boy or girl), and it is still an incredible wriggler. Has more or less settled head downwards (was transverse for a long time), but I think it swivels on its head and like phatcat, enjoys these big stretches and I go completely lopsided, bum sticking out one side, little heels digging in the other. Each m/w appt, they check the heartbeat etc and comment on what an active creature it is (I assume it's all ok, and am looking forward to see if it is as hyper out as in...). Can definitely relate to the Alien concept...
