ok i know no-one cares about the prospect of me getting varicose veins and indeed, why should they?
but if anyone knows where to get halfway decent opaque support tights I'd be very grateful!

ooh i'll have a look at that

is it me or is the John Lewis website a bit shite? i typed support tights into the search facility and it came up with a load of mattresses hmm

John Lewis you have to go in store really.

CatIsSleepy Fri 24-Oct-08 14:05:21

ok John lewis only seem to sell one pair of tights online!

and mytights has support tights but nothing opaque it seems...

anyone else know anywhere?

A friend of mine swears by these - not actually support tights but are meant to be supportive! At £25 a pop they would need to be quite special!!

NoMatterWhoIAmJustType Fri 24-Oct-08 14:11:10

Oh gosh and imagine putting them on then snagging them on the way out of the house!

CatIsSleepy Fri 24-Oct-08 14:11:11

Tightsplease.co.uk do some maternity ones (look under Specialist Tights), as do Figleaves, and Blooming Marvellous have got a good range, from the high-end Spanx support tights to the more affordable Emma Jane ones. Hope that helps!
