I was wondering this, I am 28 weeks, and not totally knackered yet, wondering when it gets really bad....

About week 37 - it's when I noticed I wanted dinner followed by a cake 5 times a day also!! I just couldn't get enough sleep or carbs - I put on about a stone in 4 weeks, couldn't really sleep though as bladder was tiny. Was mind numbingly exhausted.

At 29 weeks, you might be low in iron. I recommend you take spatone in orange juice daily.

The first trimester was trying in a different way - I think it's because you're growing the placenta and baby.

With DD1 I felt great until the day after I gave birth grin This time I felt shattered from about 27/28 weeks.

I'm 39+1 and it's really hit me in the last few days. I'm lucky as it's my first and I can lounge around all day. Hats off to all those of you who do it with other children!

i've been okay with this one, even despite the anaemia.

with both my older girls, however, it was dreadful from about 27 weeks.

spatone with orange juice every morning has really helped me. at 24 weeks i was diagnosed mildly anemic.

boots is doing buy 2 get 3 spatone or any other vits!

zazen Thu 25-Sep-08 09:24:53

yes spatone is great as it doesn't bung you up and it's mild so everyday is fine to take it. You'll feel the difference in a week.

I still take spatone one week before my period (remember those?) and it helps me as well. Will nip up to boots pronto - thanks for the tip sunshine!
Good luck Aubergine, put your feet up when you can smile

I was knackered the whole of my pregnancy. Could have slept for England. grin

It never really did in the 3rd trimester ... but then I did indulge myself with loads of naps and reading in bed.

From day one, never had morning sickness just unable to keep my eyes open for more then 30mins at a time hmm.

Blood tests come back all normal.
