Pregnancy

33 weeks - horrible pain horizontally across middle of bump & belly button v painful when touched/pressed lightly. Do you think I've pulled something?

Feels absolutely nothing like a contraction.

Has come on in last hour or so (if that).

I've been painting today so stretching and reaching AND (don't tell DH!) I've moved a washing machine and cupboard full of books

I bet I've bloody pulled something

You need to rest and see if the pain goes, and stop moving washing machines!

Ha, I wish it was that! All the electricity to the sockets downstairs failed last night

Extension lead trailing down the stairs for freezer, washing machin pulled out to get to bloody plugs behind!

DH at work

Leccy man comes and saves the day but I had to squeeze past the washer every time I had to get the to the fridge and I was veeery irritated by it!

Tum really uncomfortable now

if the pain doesn't get better with rest, you need to speak to someone, just to make sure you haven't done any damage painting and making washin machines and things!

hmm... i have something similar (minus the washing machine shifting). feels like when you press down on a big, sensitive bruise. i thought that maybe the baby had given me a big kick and that it had bruised me innards? maybe that's a bit stupid. last night, it was really painful, but this morning it was gone, then came back in the afternoon. baby's still kicking and bouncing as usual....

I have a very similar pain and i noticed today it really really hurt when i shouted at my kids (bad mother alert) and i realised that it could well be the last of my stomach muscles rupping apart!!!

Take it easy!

I had this at exactly the same time 32-33 weeks! Really tender and painful - felt unbearably stretched just above belly button. Baby was breech.

Then baby turned at 36 weeks and the pain eased completely, even though its now obviously bigger.

thanks for replies. It doesn't hurt today, apart from belly button which feels tender if pushed. think I overdid it yesterday
