Stung by bee or wasp at 25 weeks - should I worry?

Stung on the arm. Didnt see it but it left a horrid sting in my arm that I had to get out and was so painful pretty sure it was a bee or wasp.

Its abit sore and the top bit of my arm turned abit red. Should I bother my doctor or is that being a hypochondriac? It was 4 hours ago or so and feel ok other than sore arm. No history of allergies or anything like that and lots of kicking.

If it left a sting then it would be a bee, a wasp doesn't leave the stinger in you. I think you'll be fine, you didn't react right away but if you're worried or get worse then give the drs a call.

It'll be fine. I got stung last summer while pregnant and had forgotten how much it hurt.

No, don't worry. I am a beekeeper and it's an occupational hazard for me - haven't had any problems (other then getting stung on my eyebrow which made me look like I'd been thumped)

threads like this make me chuckle. What do you think might happen? I think it's sweet you are so worried. The only thing that would cross my mind is to kill the fucking thing that stung me ;)

GSM you are obviously not cursed with being a worrier! I always think..oh that will be fine. But then my mind whirls - what if I get an allergic reaction? What if bee stings bring on miscarriage? etc etc.

I was stung the other week and, to be on the safe side, I checked with my midwife at my regular appointment. She told me there was nothing to worry about.
