Obviiusly, I am looking forward to have a new baby and everything that goes along with that. But at 34 weeks pg I am also looking forward to:

Peanuts (we are a very allergic family)
Wearing different clothes
Buying new clothes
Not trying not to tell everyone what sex the baby is (we know but we are not telling)
Actually knowing whether the 20 week scan was right
Actually knowing that the baby is OK
Baby swimming classes! (I love to swim)
Not being treated like a rare delicate flower by my boss (although I realise that this is a good thing)
Not being told "Not long now" by everybody else.
Not giving a toss about work for a year!

Walking places!

ButIForgetMyself Thu 07-Aug-08 14:57:10

Not having to live away from home for five days every week (I work away)
Not being the designated driver EVERY SINGLE TIME we go out
Not having to sit watching everyone else getting drunk while sipping on a J20
Being able to stop downing Peptac after every meal
Meeting our baby for the first time
Not being told what to do when it comes to the child in my care (I'm a nanny)

Am only 11 weeks with no 2 but already looking forward to big glass of champagne, spending hours staring at baby and marvelling at the miracle in front of me and introducing DS to his little brother or sister...

Being a Mum
Seeing my DH become a Dad
Giving birth (why does no one tell you positive stories about birth until you're pregnant? Recently I've heard some really lovely tales and I'm looking forward to it now)
Cute baby clothes
Oozy gooey cheese
No work for a year
And the rest of my pregnancy (but so far it's been easy, I might change my mind!)

Not being kicked when I'm trying to sleep! Spent much of last week muttering "I don't care how much you scream and projectile-poo once you're born - at least you won't be kicking me all the time!"

Sushi... and an oozing Brie!
Hopefully, being able to walk again (have SPD)

This is my last day of work for a year, too!
It'll be a change if not a rest...
