You could take a taxi.
Why not phone the delivery ward or your MW for advice?

Ring for advice - but I think they will make you come in.

OH -- but don't tell taxi driver (if you do take taxi) that you're having ctx.
Yes, just ring for advice. Because of your high BP, really, if nothing else.
Can you ring your local team of MWs instead, if that seems better to you?

notsoslimnow · 28/07/2008 19:10

Can't hurt to phone for advice can it?

twocutedarlings · 28/07/2008 20:11

bloody hell popsycal !! now thats fast!!

I thought i was fast, 2.5 hour from first contraction.

Are you still having the braxton hicks?

Report
jollyjolly · 28/07/2008 21:25

I think you should definitly get checked out, even if its hard to sort out childcare.

Whats happening now??

Report
jollyjolly · 28/07/2008 21:26

It isn't worth risking your baby, especially with high blood pressure. I would get in straight away, even if you waste their time, its worth it to know baby is ok?

are you still having the period type cramps?

Report
cafebistro · 28/07/2008 21:33

If you are worried ring your labour ward. Explain your symptoms and your history of fast births. it wouldnt hurt just to go in for a couple of hours of monitoring to make sure you're not in labour...they'll just send you home if your not,no harm done and a load off your mind!
