Hi. Not sure what is happening! My period is three days late and on Sat did test. Extremely faint line (thread - TTC faint line Sat). Sunday was bit clearer and yesterday still faint but clear. My boobs have been hurting and am peeing a fair amount. But I am having period-like cramps which I did have with my first child. However, this time it is for 2 days?? I keep on going to the loo every two minutes to check for the dreaded AF. Going mad! Got the slightest, slightest bit of brown discharge and white mucus. Please help! I am feeling very anxious. Thanks.

Congratulations on your BFP!

I had period-like cramps everyday for a few of weeks right at the beginning (from about 4wks) and I'm 35+5 now! I've heard of a lot of people who go through this so it seems to be a normal thing.

Good luck!

Hunnie, as I said on your other thread, it really is normal to get even quite severe cramps in early pregnancy. I had period pains for at least 3-4 weeks in each of my pregnancies.

Congratulations! I had them all the time for several weeks and intermittently for at least 8-9 weeks. Brown dishcarge is old bllod so nothing to worry about (easier said than done!)

Thanks Hunnie! I know, not long to go but it still seems far away!

I wasn't so bothered with the need to pee all the time, but one of my friends was never out of the loo when she was first pg! I was really lucky though and managed to avoid a lot of the early niggles, like constant peeing and monring sickness. I forgot to say but I used a hot water bottle to help with the cramps, it wasn't boiling hot though, just warm and that seemed to help.

Thanks all. I know lou03 and thanks, but now worried about the "discharge". Didn't want to take that thread up with my cramp talk! :. Just been and checked again! So hard not to keep running to the loo. What a worry this all is!! Some people just blink and they're pregnant, no worries or anything. Oh well, we will see. Keeping positive!

Yep - felt like I was bleeding through quite a lot of my early pregnancy, then towards the end I felt like my waters had broken, lol - I think that my body likes to make lots of discharge in pregnancy.

with dd I spent 7 days utterly convinced i was about to come on at any moment. So convinced in fact i didnt bother testing till i was 7 days late, then carried on getting the cramps for some time after that. peeing and boobs are good signs!
