Anyone got a Bubaboo Gecko?

I was originally tempted by a Bugaboo cameleon but then I saw that this one was lighter and a bit simpler, hmmm, and I like the fact that you can get it in green. Anybody happy with their Gecko, or is it a general fact that the cameleon is the don-dadda of Bugaboo buggies?

I looked at bugaboo for a while, then I saw the Micralite Toro out and about and asked several people about it (literally went up to them in the supermarket and asked them about it no shame!). So now I've ordered this one... have you looked at it? It just looks a bit smaller than the chameleon, but same sort of design.

If i'm totally honest, I just like the fact the bugaboo gecko comes in green!

YOu can get it from ebay (new) for £245 I think.

I have a gecko and I love it.

I have a Cam, I think the Geckos look like a toddler would outgrow them pretty quickly and also I would find the lack of adjustable height handlebar a real pain. I'm sure you could still find green Cam hoods on ebay?

e14mum - do you find that the pram part is too near the ground with the bugaboo gecko or is it ok?

It's fine. It's not the easiest to get into the basket with the pram bit on, but I think that's the same for the cam too.

I have a gecko and am dissapointed that the seat doesn't tilt as far forward as the cameleon. DD seems semi reclined in her gecko even in the most forward position.I use a Maclaren techno all the time instead because of this reason.Also think the bar across the seat is a nice feature which the gecko doesn't have.
