Will I ever feel better?

This is my 2nd pregnancy and i cannot even begin to describe how different my 2 pregnancies have been. I think i had an almost picture prefect 1st pregnancy and now with this one, I have had on/off bleeding since week 6 (now on week 17) the worst ever all day sickness which got so bad that i was in hospital for a week, my siactica is so bad i'm limping, I get blinding migraines and now the doctor thinks i might have an over active thyroid and the baby looks a bot small!! Which is why i am so tired all the time!

I love this baby! And i would do anything for it, but i just feel so awful all the time and it doesn't matter how hard i try i just cant seem to feel positive.

What is wrong with me?????????

Nothing is wrong with you.
All my pregnancies have involved extreme tiredness/vomiting etc. You are just unlucky to have your 2nd so different from your 1st. Hopefully the symptoms will clear up. YOu have my sympathies. I'm 12wks ish w/no 3. have 2 little ones to deal with and thoroughly fed up with the whole rigmarole.

My two pregnancies have been completely opposite too. first one with dd I had daily vomitting, severe acne, teeth falling out, anaemia, extreme tiredness, constipation, heartbearn, rash etc. etc. etc. this pregnancy I feared the worst when having my scan as I wouldn't even know that i am pregnant, I have no symptoms whatsoever and am now 24 weeks pregnant with a baby boy!

It is just what happens i'm afraid, maybe this baby is a different sex and that is why you are experiencing different symptoms of pregnancy or maybe this one is just different, apparently no two pregnancies are the same. Try not to worry too much and keep in touch with your doctor/midwife etc. on how you are feeling, their reassurance will help.

Rmm - I completely sympathise with you re the sickness. I am pregnant with my 3rd now and at 13 weeks have been sick all every day for the last 8 weeks. Been hospitalised twice and am now reluctantly taking anti nausea tablets.

All I can say is I hope that you feel better soon and that you have someone there to help you.

RMM - Big Hugs! I felt awful to start with and was very sick and was hospitalised 4 times between weeks 8 and 15. Then the nausea and crappyness just stopped. It took a few weeks to get my strength back after being in bed for 6 weeks, but have felt fine since then, fingers crossed.

What I think i am saying is that it will pass! I know it's hard, but try and keep a positive outlook! I am 31 weeks with DC1 now, and really looking forward to the rewards of all the horridness.

thank you every one! I am just really tired of everyone telling me to stay positive.
I find it really hard especially when i'm still throwing up several times a day!!
I don't even know how much longer i will be able to work!!

Blondie i totally understand your reluctance to take anti anusea tablets, with me they stopped the nausea but brought on blinding migraines

Annabell - Your teeth fell out?? You poor thing!

Bike - i wish i knew that the crappyness will stop because it just feels like its going on endlessly!!

Wisknit - i know exactly what you mean when you say you just want it over and done with! Seriously thinking of having my tubes toes after this!!!
