not really leaking though, its just like the last few days of period when it goes light brown colour

hmm, when you said straw coloured it sounded like waters but browny blood more like a show.

can be ages after a show before anything happens.

i didnt have a show with my 1st, with my 2nd it was a huge loss of mucus with bloody streaks... so this is something new to me

Posted on your other thread, it sounds like a show but you're obviously worried about it and probably won't rest very well until it's checked out.

Pop down to your labour ward and they'll probably be able to tell you what it is within 5minutes! Keep your pad on, they will want to see it (isn't childbirth so dignified? ).

well brown blood is old blood so i wouldn't worry too much. it certainly just sounds like things loosening up and preparing for labour

Certainly sounds like a show, but if you are worried, then do as Ewe suggested and get yourself down to the maternity unit.
