Come here and obsess about mucus, etc.
Have fun.
Try not to swear too much.
Oh actually, go for it.
The phrase "any news?" is BANNED. Offenders will be sat on by the most overdue woman present.

Happy new thread overdue -ees, hope your stay is a short one

DP is convinced it was the trampoline bouncing that did the trick for me, felt terrible as if my entire insides were going to fall through my fanjo and I had to get off after 10 mins for a wee. DP was trying to get the phone to put me on Youtube and the neighbours were looking over the fence, not everyday you see a 9 months + pregnant woman on a trampoline!

Ooooh good luck Hatrick

Franny I thoroughly recommend a tactic that works brilliantly with dd... "Look dd, x is putting her shoes on beautifully, I bet you can't get your shoes on before x has finished"

so

"look baby, Hatrick's baby has started coming out, I bet you can't finish coming out before he does"

or does that only work with 4yo's?

I am timing my twinges and they are regular and 6 minutes apart

the 10 / 10 ers are laughing at me but I don't know if this means anything important or just whether it is a bit better than it was yesterday? I mean it sounds GOOD to me

6 mins sounds v hopeful
went to hosp when my contractions were 5 mins apart (painful but could still walk, talk and pay the taxi driver) and I was 5 cm dilated

Report
FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 21:21

well I can type and talk and smile through these
I don't think they are real contractions
but they are regular

ooh here is one

I would say do they go when you walk around

then remembered you have spd so may not be keen on that approach

Report
Ceolas · 17/07/2008 21:27

This is it, Franny. Has to be!

Report
FrannyandZooey · 17/07/2008 21:29

ooh and another! ooh that one is oofy
the spd is bizarrely so much better
I think the head is wedged in my pelvis so tight that it can't wobble and hurt so much

these twinges are right down in my pelvic bone actually

woooohoooooo I might ruddy manage this birth thing after alll

I think if they go they are BHs rather than contractions (not an expert though)

EffiePerine · 17/07/2008 21:31

I'd give your mw a call just in case

is she saying 'good stuff' while lounging on the sofa eating skips? Or is she getting over to you in case This Is It?
