Very very light (getting lighter) + tests - CP, ectopic or something else?

This is a bit long....

I have been feeling pregnant and so did a FR test at 8dpo. It was a very very light positive. Since then I have continued to get light positives but since 11 dpo they are getting lighter if anything and only just appear within the first few minutes. They're so light don't really see the point of doing a digital.

I have pretty much resigned myself to the possibility of a chemical pregnancy, but having had an ectopic 3 months ago I am frightened that this is another one (as I know how you can get wierd HPT results with ectopics). I even dreamed last night that I had one in each tube...

I'm not asking you guys to diagnose over the internet (and will go to the GP this week if this does not resolve itself), but if anyone has any comforting stories of pale BFPs that turned out ok in the end I would be very glad to hear them!!

could just be that the urine youve tested over the last few days has been a bit less concentrated, therefor making a fainter line?

God I hope so, although I've been using FMU.
I did read somewhere that some women have better luck with the second wee of the day - sod's law I won't be one of them though!

surely eight days PO is too early for any kind of accurate result? maybe the light positive is an evap line?

am sorry for your previous ectopic, i cna undersdtand why you are anxious

I thought that too, Lulu, but the one at 8dpo had colour and appeared in the time limit - and was followed by more very light positives on 10 and 11 dpo. They sort of peaked at 11dpo and then got lighter again at 12 dpo.

I kind of don't mind a cp, just as long as it isn't another ep. Am extraordinarily paranoid...
