I am 5 weeks pg with my 1st pg, but I feel like I can't get excited as its too soon,
I haven't felt sick yet but my mouth is constantly watering
My AF weren't that regular before averaging 4-6 weeks but I have felt for a week like I was due to start
I am p'ing a lot but am drinking more water anyway
I don't have much of an appetite at all since finding out,
I have had stomach ache on my right side a couple of times.
Everytime I go to the loo, keep checking for bleeding.
Is this normal?? any info would b helpful?

Congratulations - don't worry - you're quite normal. I used to do the checking thing too.
The stomach ache is probably just changes occurring in the womb and extra peeing is a sign of pregnancy.
Have to say that beyond that I had no symptoms so don't worry if you don't feel sick.
Congratulations again - by the way - this site is great for chatting to other pregnant MUms and also those no longer pregnant but coping with the fun and games that motherhood brings.

congratulations......
feeling like not eating is nerves, however you do need to eat.
p'ing and drinking a lot is the norm too.
the stomach ache you might want to mention to a doctor, just in case.
and as you i kept checking for bleeding too, infact i did it right up till i had my ds.
try to chill, get the stomach ache cheaked, here in gloucester we dont see the m/wife till we're 12 weeks, but i would still get it cheacked.
just dont get worked up about any thing.

All sounds very normal to me too Yokefleet. (I've had three DSs.)

Are you from there?

Yes, went to school near there (in Howden).

I used to go to Howden Secondry School. That seems like a lifetime ago!!!

It is nearly a lifetime ago in my case (I'm going to be 40 this year!).

I left in 1983. How about you?

dino i'm 40 this year, are you doing anything nice?

Well, I think I'm going to go away with DH and the boys (it's in half-term week) although we haven't booked anything yet.

I'll have a party later in the year when we get our cellar conversion finished. That's the plan anyway.

What about you bundle?

dh has arranged for my parents to come & stay, probably so we can go to a hotel (though he hasn't mentioned this) and may have a party later on (my bday is 1 april,so soon!)

do tell re: your cellar conversion, we thought about having ours done but the quotes varied enormously and weren't convinced enough that we'd recoup the investment if we sold. (sorry for hijack, yokefleet)

Ooh you young thing. Well, at least we can't "out" each other on mumsnet anyway.

I moved to London after university and have been here ever since. Still go back to visit as my sis lives in Howden and my parents still have a house there.

Bundle - do you want to CAT me? Feel a bit embarrassed about discussing sums involved in cellar conversion (a lot, in our case).
