i've just got back from the maternity ward. they did more tests and monitoring, and they will hopefully have more results from lab on weds. drinking loads of water. just so uncomfortable. all they suggest is paracetamol which takes the edge off a bit, and rest.

leucocites?? are white blood cells and indicate infection so I would assume it needs treatment

misdee Sat 22-Jan-05 22:21:04

innit. thinking of getting myself admitted..............

misdee Sat 22-Jan-05 22:22:30

thanks noddy, i knew someone would know how to spell it.

as its only a trace, and has been only a trace for 2 weeks they are reluctant to perscribe anti biotics. but it hurts everytime i move now. getting up hurtsd, sitting down hurts, moving onto my side hurts........... get the idea?

If it is a UTI, cranberry juice is very good for it.
Hope you feel better soon.

misdee Sat 22-Jan-05 22:24:57

i bought a carton of cranberry and blackcurrent, and dh drank it b4 i got a chance, and he shouldnt have cranberry juice as its messes with warfarin.

MEN!

misdee Sat 22-Jan-05 22:28:51

i've been seen 3 times in the last week noddy, and each time they say the same. if its bad again tomorrow with no let up, then on monday i am gonna be demanding anti biotics at my ante natel appointment.

jessicasmummy Sat 22-Jan-05 22:30:09

misdee... please dont wait til monday. it isnt worth the pain you are obviously feeling. I advise going back to the maternity ward again... the more you bugg them the more seriously they will take you xxx

misdee Sat 22-Jan-05 22:35:36

i may well do that tomorrow, if i cant move off the sofa or shift about. its a nightmare trying to getup etc. even getting out of the car hurt.

misdee Sun 23-Jan-05 12:19:26

still got pain, not as bad as last night, but still a dull ache.

dd1 has gone out with her friend, dd2 is asking to go to see grandma, so i will have a quiet afternoon. will try and rest.

jessicasmummy Sun 23-Jan-05 12:51:30

good good. just remember that the health of you and the new bubba is the most important thing right now. {{{hugs}}}

misdee Sun 23-Jan-05 21:11:13

wisah it was just the health of me and bubs i have to worry about. dh still not feeling great, but tomorrow he is doing the school run with me!!

jessicasmummy Sun 23-Jan-05 21:22:50

that will help surely. you need as much support as possible, and if you still feel really bad, go back to hospital. thinking of you again tonight xxx

misdee Sun 23-Jan-05 21:25:59

feeling a bit easier on the pain front. can move about tonight without feeling too much pain. am hoping its just ligament pain, as this is #3 so i am weel 'stretched' around my tummy.

jessicasmummy Sun 23-Jan-05 21:27:19

not long to go now and you will be holding baby misdee and you wont remember all this discomfort. take care and try and take it easy as much as possbile x
