How’s everyone feeling today?

@Itsabean I'm ok thanks! Getting a bit nervous as it's been a week almost since my last scan (8+3) and got to wait until NYE for the next one (10+3). Sooo hard with zero symptoms 🙈 really just want to feel like there's something there!

How are you? Xx

Thanks for the new thread @Danani! Not feeling it today, at all. Trying to get the house clean and tidy for Christmas (have my work cut out, ha) but it's taking the edge off the anxiety. 5 weeks tomorrow so a fair way behind some of you!

@Rachae try and enjoy your pregnancy, you don't want to think back to your first few months and all you can remember is worrying. having no symptoms is great! symptoms are reassuring but so are the scans! xx you and the little bean will be fine, worrying will not make the situation better nor will it give you symptoms, enjoy your first few months of pregnancy xxx

@Rachae my symptoms have totally stopped the last 2 days 😳 I know that's normal but I actually liked them. I still have horrifically sore boobs

Thanks for the new thread @Danani !

Today is I’m in struggle city with nausea. Feel sick if I’m hungry, feeling sick if I eat and my stomach seems to have shrunk.

@Rachae definitely try to enjoy this time. I know symptoms can be reassuring but it’s making me a bit miserable if I’m totally honest and I ended up crying to my husband last night as I don’t feel like myself.

Thanks for the tag @Danani

I’m feeling okay, still not many symptoms but get queasy every now and again. I’m starting to get really travel sick in the car if I’m not driving which I’ve never had before. And the bloat when I eat! 3 weeks tomorrow until my 12 week scan! Feels like ages away 😂

@Rachae easier said than done, but try and enjoy it… saying that, I don’t know anyone who could say morning sickness is enjoyable!
I’m well though thank you, just waiting to hear from my local hospital as to when my first appointment will be, it’s coming up to 3 weeks nearly since I phoned them, and I’ve still heard nothing. Not sure if I’m just being impatient or not Hmm

Hi ladies,

Just had our early reassurance scan. I thought I was 6+6 but baby is measuring 7+2, CRL is 10.9mm and there is a strong heartbeat. I cried at the scan like a loser ha. Just such a relief after the last scan with the MMC.

Hope everyone is okay

@HA22 @Itsabean @Firsttimetrier Thanks ladies xx After 4 mcs, I just find it so so hard. I know I'm most likely lucky not to have symptoms but I'm terrified all the same. Every time I have to go to the loo I shake and it's really hard to look down at the tissue. My midwife thinks I have PTSD from the MC's. Just can't believe my boobs aren't even sore!

@RKEE oo huge congratulations! xx

Thank you @Rachae It is so hard to not worry about symptoms isn’t it. I had extremely sore boobs with my MMC and this time I hardly have any boob pain. I suppose we just have to tell ourselves that every pregnancy is different. You got this 💪

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and Boxing Day!

I came down with a horrible cold on Christmas Day! I did a lateral flow in the morning just to check before seeing my family. Thankfully it was negative and just a cold but my body has been so achey in the evenings. I feel like I haven’t stopped for about 2 weeks so this week I’m having a very chilled week 😂

Did anyone get any pregnancy related gifts for Christmas? My DP got me a pregnancy pillow which I’m so excited to use! When do people usually start using them? We also got gifted some baby clothes which nearly made me cry..they are so tiny and cute 🥰

Hope everyone is doing okay!

Snap @Coco9910 got a cold but done a LFT every day since about Tuesday as we’ve been seeing family. All negative!
This is the first time I’ve had a week off work since our wedding in July, so not surprised as I always get sick before a holiday which is so annoying.

I’ve had the worst exhaustion and nausea the last few days, so it’s been a difficult period and had to skip a few walks for naps/resting in bed. Hoping it will pass in the next few weeks!

I got some funny little baby presents from keen grandparents including a baby on board badge, a tamigotchi so we can practice parenting 😅, and then some bump cream.

Can I join the fb group please? I’m still in my Jan 20 group and I’ve loved seeing all the babies grow up. We’ve even had some meet ups it’s been lovely so would love to do it again.

Hi everyone. Like many of you, we've been ill with stomach bugs for several days over Christmas and still suffering now. Had to cancel plans to see family yesterday as this bug is clearly highly contagious. We don't have any symptoms of covid but done lat flows anyway which were all negative.

Despite having horrendous stomach pains I'm okay. No pregnancy symptoms really but only 5+3 today. Going to ring GP later this week and ask for an early scan as I'm still an anxious mess about the possibility of there being more than one in there!

Apart from DP and a close friend, nobody knows, so no baby themed gifts for us! I'm happy with nobody knowing. Don't even want to tell my own parents until about 16 weeks.

@Danani thank you for the new thread!

@Coco9910 I've been using mine for a couple of weeks already but purely because it's sooo comfy 😁

@Rachae gosh that really does sound like PTSD! Do tell the midwife when you next can so they can help get you support. Apart from anything it needs to go on file in case you need post partum support as apparently it can be tricky to get if you mention nothing during the pregnancy.

7 weeks today and no symptoms still. I'm just a bit flabbergasted I've made it this far? I've got my first u/s next Tuesday and can't believe it's come round this quickly.

@Firsttimetrier hope you feel better soon! A tamagotchi!! I didn’t know they still made those 😂 if my tamagotchi parenting was anything to go by for how I will be as an actual parent I’m gonna need lots of help 😩😂😂

@Squiff70 hope you feel better? I didn’t have many symptoms at 5-6 weeks..I was having cramps but they stopped around these weeks and I haven’t had many symptoms since then either and I’m 10+5 now. It’s hard not to feel anxious about it all..we just have to trust that our bodies are doing what they need to be doing. Definitely call and see if you can get a scan though 💕

@Juno231 I think I’m going to save mine for my 12 week scan on 14th January and then if all is well then I will treat myself to using it 😂
