Currently I am 20 weeks pregnant and my bmi is now sitting at 40. At my booking in appointment it was 35. Will I now be treated as a over 40 bmi pregnancy?

You can decline to be weighed (and not share your weight) as pregnancy BMI is useless.

Not usually. They refer to your booking BMI and rarely check weight later on unless needed for meds etc.

My BMI at booking was 32 and now over 37 at 26wk, probably gained too much. Most of my gain was early on as I was a carb loader and ate more convenience foods, now diet is much better and trying to stay active to limit further gains. Not worried about it though, I was heavier in my twin pregnancy last time and managed to get to 38wk without them raising any issues about my weight.

No, it's your booking bmi they take into consideration. You can also refuse to be weighed again. Or can tell them if they insist on weighing you you don't want to know the outcome, that's what I did at my 12 week scan where they did bloods etc. She wouldn't let me take my shoes or sweatshirt off so I didnt want to know, as it wouldn't have been a true reflection of my weight anyway
