Hey Smile

So I’m probably one of the First Ladies on here to be due in 2022! My due date is Jan 1st 2022 - New Year’s Day.

I am actually not due on AF until this Thursday coming but have had strong positives for the last 2 days so keeping everything crossed!

Is there any other 2022 mums yet?

Whooop, can I hop on this thread?

Technically my due date is 31 December 2021, but this is my first pregnancy and I’m assuming the baby will be late! Also would’ve felt mad to join the December group, which is already on its second long thread Smile

I found out on Thursday - faint line on an internet cheapie and then the word ‘Pregnant’ on a ClearBlue digital. Took another IC this morning and the line is getting darker! Phew!

Absolutely no symptoms yet - some twinges and breast pain but nothing different to what I feel before my period.

Very early days, and my husband is refusing to be excited yet (we know 7 women who have had miscarriages in the last year). But we are keeping all our fingers crossed!

Congratulations everyone!!

I got my positive results yesterday. 😁

Due date is the 2nd Jan 2022, BUT my previous 2 both came at 37 weeks (37 on the dot and 37w2d) so I'm expecting this one to follow in their brother and sisters footsteps and come early.
I would love then to hold on and be a January baby though. 🤞🏻

I'm 36 (37 in May) and have a 10 and 7 year old already.

YAY I have some January company! Congratulations all! How are we all feeling? 4 weeks today - My boobs are HUGE and sore, got cramps today which is worrying me but apparently normal? You forget what happens in your other pregnancies don’t you ☺️

Ohh, I know just how you feel @Cloclo88!
My youngest is 7, so it feels like a lifetime ago since I was last pregnant.
It's almost like doing it all again for the first time.

I have cramps too, like you I've been stressing over every twinge. (Google search is your worst enemy!)
I'm a natural worrier too, which doesn't help 🙈.

Have you phoned your GP yet?

Cloclo88 · 24/04/2021 11:25

I’m very similar to you lovely - 33, youngest is 6 and oldest is 11 this year!

I’m a worrier too so I totally feel you :( hopefully we’re both going to be absolutely fine!

So I did call but they said you have to self register with a midwife on a website now at 6 weeks?! How can do much change in 6 years 🤣 have you?

Really?! Wow, things have changed. @Cloclo88

I haven't phoned them yet, I was going to wait until Monday. It doesn't sound like they'll do much, but it'll be nice to feel like I've done something to get the ball rolling.

I really don't want to wish time away, but the first 12 weeks are so stressful, I really can't wait until I can have that first scan and know everything's OK.

I feel exactly the same @deethra this is the worst bit, so worrying!!

This is the link they gave me - www.uhs.nhs.uk/maternityreferral

2 weeks to go until we can even fill this out ugh 😐

It's going to be the longest 2 weeks ever!!

I'm so glad I found your post, hopefully this can give me some sanity while we wait, haha @Cloclo88

Can I join? Smile

Just had positive this morning which I think puts me end dec/early January. Have a little boy (20 months) and have been trying for number 2 since last October - has felt like a long time but it’s all relative.

Had all period symptoms early this week then nothing... but held off taking a test because last time I didn’t get a positive till nearly a week after I was due and I couldn’t cope with keep testing again this time!

So excited and also terrified.

I’ve also had some cramping- trying to remember it’s normal but so aware of every feeling.

Also so interesting you have to wait till 6 weeks, in my trust they suggest you call the community midwife team as soon as you know and they’ll make the referral for booking in (but for some people I expect that’s about 6 weeks anyway)

Zm2019 · 25/04/2021 07:17

I'm 3w3d and I'm not feeling anything yet. Im able to do a self referral form but then book my midwife at 8w. Think I'll book a private scan at 8 weeks too just to confirm all is ok. I had an early scan with my previous too. X

Congratulations ladies!!!

I’m also thinking of booking a scan for 8 weeks because I can’t bare the wait 😧

Hey, I had a faint positive this morning and again this afternoon, I have no idea when I am due as I haven't had a period since January because of breastfeeding. Smile

Joining too! I am 4+4 today with a 30th Dec due date

First pregnancy, very excited, but also absolutely terrified as I know a fair few people who have miscarried so DH and I are trying not to get our hopes up this early.

Also have barely any symptoms which is worrying me. Very slightly tender boobs today, and had to pee a lot over the weekend, but that seems to have calmed today. Otherwise nothing... Do all of you have symptoms or am I worrying for nothing?

Report
IAmFourEels · 26/04/2021 15:10

@abi555 I am in the exact same position - 4w + 3d and no symptoms. My boobs feel normal, I feel totally normal! Except for occasional twinges, but I get them throughout my cycle anyway. I’m not too worried though, I think it’s normal to have symptoms and also normal to not have them! Especially as it’s so early.

It’s also my first pregnancy, and I know 7 women who have miscarried in the last 12 months, so I am very anxious. I am carrying sanitary pads in my handbag in case I start bleeding when I’m out and about, and superstitiously touching wood whenever I think too far into the future!

It’s tricky now that you’re allowed in people’s gardens, and outside restaurants. DH and I have bloody loads of social stuff planned, and I’m having to plot craftily how to hide the fact I’m not drinking! Anyone else having to chuck champagne on the grass when their hosts’ backs are turned? Blush

UghWaitingForTheSugarCrash · 26/04/2021 15:18

I don't have many symptoms apart from slight sickness.

No sore boobs, nothing!

As I have been with the fertility clinic, I have a foetal heart scan on 13th May. I feel anxious already Sad
