I am starting this thread a bit early. I tested yesterday at 9dpo and got a faint positive, which was much darker today. My due date would be the 29 September, but this is my second child and my first was super late, so am assuming this will really be an October baby.

Hi @SecondTimeTry, just got my BFP this morning. I've worked out my due date to be anywhere from 3rd to 5th October (my cycles only 25 days and some calculators seem to take that into consideration, while others don't).
Second baby here too. I had to be induced at 39 weeks with my first so no insight as to whether I'll end up being the beginning of October or the end of September. How old is your first @SecondTimeTry?

Congratulations @Pebbleinthesand

Our son is 4 years old, he will be 5 in August. How old is your first?

How are you feeling? At the moment I can't say I am experiencing many symptoms, my boobs have been super sore for a couple of days but that has stopped now. And some mornings i feel a bit hot and a little queasy, but it's not too bad. I have been super thirsty. I can't really remember when I properly felt pregnant last time, I remember being absolutely knackered. But I can't remember when that kicked in.

My daughter is 3 and a half. She'll be 4 years and 4 months by the time baby number 2 makes an appearance.

I've had achey boobs all week and I'm really bloated but not had anything other than that. I didn't really have any symptoms with my first so I'm actually welcoming the sore boobs a bit at the moment.

I was so tired in the first trimester with DD but I can't remember when that started.

Hi, can I join 😊
Bfp yesterday, puts me at about 6th October due.. However my first was early, so could be a September baby, but I'll stay here anyway!
How is everyone feeling? Any symptoms yet?

Hi @LauEli, congratulations on your BFP.

I may end up September too because with DD my due date was put forward a week at my scan from where my period had it worked out and then I was induced at 39 weeks because I had gestational diabetes. She was born 11 days before her original due date.

Hello can I join too? BFP yesterday, due date would be 1st October. Second baby, my DD will be 4 when this one is born :)

We've all got pretty similar previous children too, my little boy will be 4 on Halloween...two October birthdays and Christmas two months later. Must be mad!

Hi all!
I’ve been lurking around the pregnancy board waiting for someone to start an October thread 😂
I got my BFP a couple of days ago 4 weeks today so super early. Due date based on both LMP and ovulation date is 2nd October.
This is baby number 2. Baby number 1 was an October baby 2 years ago!

Report
Leah2501 · 23/01/2021 18:59

Thought I’d better add on that baby number 1 was born in October 2019, so 2 years ago from October 2021.

LauEli · 23/01/2021 19:02

Anyone got any symptoms as yet?

Report
Leah2501 · 23/01/2021 19:11

I’ve got period cramps Confused which worries me as I didn’t have it with first child. I’ve also had spotting the last couple of days which I thought was implantation.
I’ve still only got a BFP on cheapies, currently have Covid so ordered CB for Monday.

Hello,

I found out earlier this week, due approx 30th September or early October, but my 4 year old was 12 days late!

I already look about 5 months pregnant, and I've got loads of aches and pains. I'm sleeping loads too, but broken sleep.

Hope you're all doing ok!

Hello everyone, going to tentatively join if that's okay! 💕

Got my BFP yesterday, I should be exactly four weeks today so due about the 2nd October. All being well this will be my third child - I already have two daughters, the eldest is three and a half and the youngest just turned one the start of this month. Smile

Wow so far we’re all on a second/third/fourth child. No first time pregnancies just yet!

@Leah2501 sorry to hear you've got covid! How is that making you feel?

@CaptainSpirit I got my bfp yesterday too :) congrats!

@RachelBlue I feel like I look 5 months pregnant haha, so bloated. Not stopped drinking all day or using the toilet.

anyone started supplements yet? I had to take aspirin and 5ml folic acid last time, hoping to steer clear this time around

Well I think I got a bit confused between Covid symptoms and pregnancy. Getting Covid made me assume it wouldn’t be this month. Luckily I’m doing okay. I work as a nurse on a Covid ward so I’ve lasted a good amount of time without contracting it.

I’ve been taking folic acid since November. I’ve also been taking vitamin d since September as I do every winter.

@LauEli Thank you, congratulations to you too! ❤️
Ooh you've just reminded me, I ordered some pregnacare online which hasn't arrived yet but I have a feeling I have some left over from my last pregnancy - going to go and dig it out and check the dates!

@Leah2501 I meant to say as well, I had horrendous period-type cramps early on with my second, can definitely be a normal symptom. I hope you're okay! 💕

I got my BFP this morning! Our due date is around 4th October, finding it hard to get excited as we had an early miscarriage in November, so it seems we have been blessed to fall in the first month of TTC again! This will be our first child... praying all is well this time around x x

Report
LauEli · 23/01/2021 21:53

@TTCBaby1 congratulations 😊 how exciting. So Sorry about your early miscarriage. All the luck sending your way this time.

@CaptainSpirit I think I've got pregnacare hidden somewhere too ill have to dig it out. Along with something for killer heart burn I had with number 1, as I can imagine that will rear its ugly head again!

Tentatively joining you all after a faint bfp this morning. Due 1st oct. My 3rd, have 2 teenagers already. Had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks in August with complications so relieved to see the bfp this morning but utterly terrified.

CaptainSpirit · 23/01/2021 22:41

@LauEli I found a (slightly dusty) 7 day sample pack of pregnacare tucked away and still in date, woo! 🎉 It will at least do me until the new pack arrives.
Oh yikes, fingers crossed you don't get horrible heartburn again but at least you'll be prepared!!

@LissLady so sorry to hear about your MMC, that must have been very difficult. Big congratulations for the BFP though. Flowers

I had a 12 week TFMR a couple of weeks before I fell pregnant again with my second child, feeling quite a bit terrified for this new pregnancy now as well. Although today I'm feeling positive so I've decided to just embrace it for now, even if I wake up feeling really scared again tomorrow.

Thank you! DH isn't pushing me to tell me parents but I'm very close to them and feel like it'll be a weight off my mind telling them.
I'm so anxious this time though I've been sat shaking and crying tonight. I feel more anxious than first time round! How are you feeling? Congrats to you too! x
