Hi...
I am just curious to know did anyone get pregnant the first time TTC?

Also...what we're your very early symptoms that you had after ovulation day that made you think you could be?

I am currently 18 weeks with DC3. (DC1 with DP).
We got pregnant our first month trying.
Now that I think back, My first 2 DC were the same.
I got a positive test at around a week before AF was due. I tested early because my boobs were tender and food started to smell a bit funny.

My mum loves to boast how she got pregnant first time trying, even when it was taking my husband and I almost two years of trying.

Yes, I did. It was unfortunately a chemical pregnancy though, but I think the earliest symptom was a fizzing feeling in my uterus and an aversion to alcohol

I got pregnant the first month we stopped using contraception and my first symptom was light bleeding 11 days and then 5 days before my period was due, which I took to be implantation bleeding as I’d never had spotting between periods before. Did a test when my period was 3 days late and the rest is history! Very very lucky.

Yes! I had loads of symptoms too. Was completely exhausted, would be starving hungry but then feel sick when food was in front of me (I was admitted with HG at 6 weeks pregnant 🤢), quite moody too and very sore boobs. Kept getting negative tests and it made me really cross because I was so sure I was pregnant- I’d never felt that way before, really unlike myself.

Yes 1st pregnancy I got pregnant 1st cycle. In all my pregnancies I have nausea around 12 days post ovulation which prompts me to test.

My first symptom was actually a stuffy nose, so bizarre. Then after is was frequent urination!

I got pregnant the first time trying with dd, with ds one missed pill was all it took and with my current pregnancy, two cycles. In my first two pregnancies I started peeing lots so tested 5 days before my period and tested positive on a clear blue. With my current pregnancy I tested 6 days before my period because I was out for a meal and thought the meat stunk but noone else did.

I have been very lucky in terms of getting pregnant, unfortunately I am not so good at the giving birth part.

Yes, I did - we tried once and I got pregnant but it resulted in a chemical pregnancy. A couple of months later we tried again, and I got pregnant again, and this one is due imminently! And I'm 40. So it can happen.
I remember a close friend of mine got pregnant the first time of trying, but she was in her late 20s then.

Symptoms for the chemical pregnancy were more marked - I felt the implantation. It was a bit pinchy. Then, I suspected it wasn't working when I experienced some quite bad/ weird cramps the day my period was due. I knew something was up. I eventually bled about two or three days later (about five days after my first pregnancy test).

Symptoms for the successful implantation were milder, and I didn't know I was pregnant as we'd truly not expected it to happen so fast. I did have some aching/ feeling which I now realise was implantation, but I had assumed it was period pains. I tested on the day my period was due and it was positive. It had been a complete surprise to me, and I could have mistaken all my 'feelings' for my period coming.

Good luck!

Adding to agree with PP - my sense of smell was probably the first other sign. You turn into a superhero regarding your ability to smell things across the room or in cupboards!

I have got pregnant first time with all three. It's not been plain sailing though as we have had two miscarriages. I also got pregnant first time trying with these. I think I fall pregnant easily but don't necessarily find it easy to sustain the pregnancy.

Strangely my first pregnancy symptom before anything else Is bizarrely vivid dreams. They are insane and feel very real. Each time I have had one I now know I'm pregnant as I only have them when I'm pregnant and they've come before any other symptoms. After that it's sore boobs abs crazy tiredness .

I did but it was a chemical pregnancy. This was when me and DH first got together and in the throes weren't so brilliant with contraception.

Now been actively TTC for the past 16 months and nothing!!! Typical

Yes I got pregnant I think cycle 1 or 2 when first TTC, no symptoms apart from needing to wee all the time, sadly had a blighted ovum pregnancy.

Then took another 8 cycles to get pregnant again and now 23 weeks, had no symptoms until about 6 or 7 weeks.

Oh god yeah I had the super sense of smell from about 14dpo first time, it was awful!

I was lucky enough to catch first time. I used OPKs to have an idea of when we ovulated and also used pre-seed (TMI I can be a bit dry!) so those both probably helped.

Symptoms wise I had mild nausea and loss of appetite. Like there was just nothing I wanted to eat. The night before I got my BFP I had terrible backache, which isn't usually a period symptom for me so that made me suspicious

Yes I got pregnant on our first month of trying (and apparently so did my mum with me!). First symptoms before I got a positive test were sore boobs and super sense of smell!

Me. Two signs I had: couldn't stomach the thought of the second glass of wine (physically couldn't bring the glass to my mouth!), and decided out of the blue that I wasn't going to do the workout that I'd been looking forward to all day. I was on my way home thinking "oooh I can't wait to do the workout, it's going to be a tough one." And then the immediate voice in my head said "nope".

Pissed on a stick the next morning and was pregnant but I guessed I was by the signs the night before.

Bizarrely enough with DS2, I was half way through my second almost pint of wine and only took a test because I was drunk. Didn't go off wine at all with him and didn't have many signs at all.

I tried for 9 years with my ex, then got pregnant first time with donor sperm in a syringe. Does that count?

Got pregnant very first time trying.
Got a late BFP at 14 dpo.
Had periods pains the day before and sensitive nipples.
Had a miscarriage few weeks later though.

Second time, no symptoms at all. BFP at 10 dpo.

I'd been symptom dpotting for 9 years, so when it actually happened, it was weird. I just didn't get my period. No symptoms at all.
