Nipples, and other odd body changes

I'm 27 weeks with my first, and my weirdest thing about the body changes have been my nipples!

Bump - love it. Hair not falling out - loving it. Skin not being so great anymore because I've not been able to use my normal products - meh. Hip pain - do struggle during the night.

But seeing my areola's go so large and dark in colour, that genuinely disturbs me! Will it go back to normal? Or is this it?! My boobs themselves haven't actually gone big, just my nipples and my areolas!

So I thought it'd be interesting to see what other body changes have freaked people out (or that they secretly enjoy!).

I'm 17 months pp, my husband was looking at an old photo of me when I was pregnant and my nipples honest to god looked like burgers. They were very dark and huge! Can confirm my nipples have returned to their normal size and colour (am still breastfeeding).

Good luck op.

My nipples have darkened too , almost brown. I think it's just one of them things on the list that changes on our body

I've been obsessed with the hair that grew on my belly , I've absolutely no idea why 😂

I'm always showing people for some reason

Also, when preggo I had ridiculous haemorrhoids. One time I had one 3 inches long and bright purple. The doctor was gobsmacked and had never seen one so big yep, that was mega embarrassing but desperate times. I could barely walk at the time. The day after birth, they disappeared and I haven't suffered since.

Nipples get bigger and go darker to make it easier for baby to find them with their limited vision, they mostly return to normal or don't stay as dark/big Smile
