Hi, I’m 8dpo & I’ve just got a pretty clear BFP in the middle of the day so not fmu. Friends have joked that it could mean twins! I don’t mind either way but I’m interested in your thoughts Smile

I had a bfp at 9dpo and thought I was destined for twins. Luckily only one little guy in there! 32 weeks now and feeling pretty enormous - all the women who have 2 or more a total rockstars!

More likely that you just ovulated earlier than you thought. Strong positives don’t necessarily mean twins

More likely you ovulated earlier than you thought. I'm having twins and my line 9DPO was very very faint

With dc2 and dc4 I got very early clear positives from 8dpo. I couldn't realistically have ovulated much earlier as I have short (26/7) day cycles.

Both singletons.

My cycles are 29 days long and I can still ovulate anywhere from cycle day 12 to 17 (I know this as as has several months of follicle and ovulation tracking scans) so even if you have a short cycle you can ovulate earlier than you think

I've got twins and never had a strong line. Quads maybe?!

I don't think it means anything at all.

I had a line at 10 dpo in both pregnancies, once I was pregnant with twins and once I wasn’t - the lines looked the same. Twins is always possible but the like strength can also be affected by how much liquid you drink and how dilute your wee is.
