Hiya i have been on the patch for three months but in the last month i have felt very tired and sick especially in the morning, i decided to scrap the patch so i took it off in my second week, i then have started to bleed but it feels so different to a period? So i decided to take a test, bare in mind i do not know when my next period is, this test came up with one pink line and another one but was faint but noticeable then took a clear blue weeks indicator test but it said i wasnt pregnant im so confused help

Im in the same situation as you OP.

I took a pregnancy test and had a very faint positive line but when I took the clear blue test it said I'm not pregnant. So same boat as you very confused. So I'm here to see if anyone can offer an advice haha.

Did you have unprotected sex?

@ellieiris20 yeah that's what I was thinking too.

So it's best to wait maybe a week or so and then try the test again.

It's so frustrating because I did 2 tests they both had such a faint line then did the clear blue and it said not pregnant.

The digitals are less sensitive. Try a first response early response, remember a faint line is still a positive

@ellieiris20 could it be that you have started your periods ? Because you have removed The birth control method it can be that you've started your periods straight away.

I have already had a period this month, i just don't understand how the test was positive if it is a period

Hi OP, I'm not entirely sure how the patch works as never used it but if it's similar to the combined pill then the bleeding is most likely a "withdrawal" bleed rather than a period, which is just from the drop in hormones and really common regardless of pregnancy or not (as I say, I don't know if the patch works the same way, I just know this is the case with that pill so could be?)

If you've had a faint line it's definitely a possibility you're pregnant. Did you have unprotected sex after removing the patch? How long ago was it you removed it?

The digital tests are less sensitive and so it's normal not to get a positive on these until later. Get yourself a FRER test, wait 2 days and take it with your FMU, hcg tends to double every 48 hours so should hopefully be darker then (if that's what you're hoping for)
