Free stuff on Facebook is it worth it?

I keep seeing things like Johnson & co, Emma's diary and other companies advertising free stuff if you sign up. Anyone ever done this and is it worth it or did it come to the nothing?

I think if you sign up you’ll get inundated with spam emails forever - I didn’t bother. If you do then set up a dummy email account specifically for receiving emails from them.

Emma's Diary is a legit one, i downloaded the app and put in my pregnancy details and you get free mum packs at different points in your pregnancy. All I did was download the voucher and showed the cashier in the baby section of boots - I remember getting freebies like pads, wipes, sudocrem etc.

However the 'free' things i see on Facebook are usually not real.

The "free" items you get are mostly leaflets and the odd sachet. Not really worth the hassle.

Bounty have gone into administration now. I tried many times to get the pack at our local asda but it was never in stock. Emma's diary you can use your junk email and you don't have to provide a phone number. The packs dont have much in though. A single serving of stretch mark creme and a single pair of disposable breast pads. Not worth the trip. The best freebies come from Boots Parenting Club. Always avoid the adverts on Facebook, if a company is paying for adverts on there then you can be sure they are harvesting your info to sell.

The Emma's diary one is rubbish now - I picked up a pregnancy one a few weeks back - loss of leaflets, useless articles and probably one nappy nothing else.
Last time I was pregnant 6 years ago you got loads!
