Pregnancy

Did you feel okay at 10-12 weeks?

Looking for positive stories. I’m between 11 and 12 weeks, and been feeling reasonably normal the past week. I know symptoms aren’t an indication of things being good or bad, but I’m driving myself crazy and would really appreciate hearing some stories of either symptoms disappearing, no symptoms at all, not feeling pregnant etc but everything being okay at 12 week scan.

I had an early scan at 9 weeks where everything was fine, and my 12 week scan is 1st December. Previous MC so very on edge. Blush

This happened to me with my last and this one op Smile both absolutely fine!
I'm now 22 weeks with DD2 and feel absolutely exhausted! xx

My scan is 1 Dec too - currently 10+6. Am also v anxious that something will be wrong, since I'm 40 and overweight. In terms of symptoms, try not to worry - I have read loads of stories on forums where symptoms seem to have receded and the scan goes absolutely fine. It's such a nerve-wracking time.

I’m 12 weeks today and since Monday I’ve been feeling loads better. Congratulations 😊

With my DS, I felt incredibly bloated in the very early stages 4-8 weeks, then barely felt any symptoms until well into the 2nd trimester. Even then things weren't too bad, just slight nausea which could always be remedied with a dry cracker. It was the third trimester that got me - aching hips, constant weeing and sleepless nights. That was about it.

My baby was born perfect (in my opinion 😊). I know it's much easier said than fone but try and enjoy a pregnancy without symptoms. I hear stories from my friends of aching boobs, vomiting, back ache, etc throughout and I really feel for them as my pregnancy was nothing like that.

Placenta takes over as you reach the end of the first trimester so symptoms tend to stop!

This time I felt good from about 9 weeks, with my first I didn't start to feel better until about 16 weeks so it was a bit of a relief!

I had no symptoms.
I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 5months.
Good Luck

With my 1st I had no symptoms at all and I was weirdly jealous of my friends who felt sick and tired etc.

DD is now 1 and I'm pregnant with our second and feeling very rough! Enjoy it and good luck!

I felt so so rough from about weeks 6/7. Week 12 is when I started to stop throwing up several times a day ever day. In fact, week 12 was crazy busy for me - I got married when I was 12+3 - and I expected to struggle as being tired made my sickness worse, but luckily that was the week I started to feel better.

I also had the odd day in weeks 10 to 11 where I felt fine and was worried that my HCG levels were dropping...but it started up again within a day or two! I think it’s easy to get paranoid when your symptoms stop, but that’s because your hormone levels fluctuate.

I'm exactly the same. Symptoms subsiding at 10 weeks and scanxiety is fever pitch. Scan on 4 Dec. Previous MC too.

All we can do is repeat the mantra: In all liklihood, I will have a healthy baby.

Sending good vibes 💐💐

I’m 10 weeks and had horribly sickness. Last week I had a bleed (scanned and all fine) but then symptoms really dropped for 3 days. I was quite twitchy about it as had HG the entire time with DS.

Anyway yesterday the nausea returned, somewhat reduced but noticeable. I would REALLY love one of those pregnancy’s with no sickness after the first trimester. I could really stand to gain at least a stone, maybe two x

Thanks everyone. I haven’t had it bad with nausea anyway, but at least when I was feeling crappy I felt a bit more reassured. Blush

Other than pregnancy rhinitis (and it was hayfever season anyway), I felt fantastic. No morning sickness etc.

With my first pregnancy I had horrible nausea and sickness between 6-10 weeks and then it pretty much stopped over night. It was so bad all I consumed was ketchup flavour crisps and cans of coke! It was such a relief when it ended. With my second I had no symptoms at all for the whole pregnancy.

Hi Everyone,
Congratulations!
My 12 week scan is on 20th November, I’m 11+1 today, I had an early private scan too at 8 weeks because it didn’t feel real, everything was fine but I’m still soooooo nervous for the 12 week scan after reading loads of scary stories about private scans!
I’ve had really bad nausea but no sickness, the nausea has been a lot better the last day or two, apart from that I’ve had sore boobs but no other symptomsHmm, does anyone feel like their body has changed yet? I feel like I’ve got a bump already which is crazy cause it’s so early but I’ve always had a flat belly until now! I guess it could just be bloating but it’s in the morning as well xx

I felt really tired and nauseous up to about week 10. Everything was fine.I didn't even think that was worrying. I think it's totally normal for symptoms to get better thenSmile

I felt awful (nausea, exhaustion, starving all the time) from 5 weeks and then at 9-10 weeks it all disappeared and I felt like I wasn’t pregnant anymore. Also scanxiety and booked a private scan to check.
I’m 36 weeks tomorrow and she’s bashing about right now inside the bump as usual!

Best of luck x
