Hi Ladies

I live in London and am wondering if there is anyone else in the London/Kent/Surrey area due around July 2021?

I'm a first time mum and so many of the Groups I've joined are mums who have done this before. This is so incredibly helpful to hear their past experiences, but it would be fab to meet some ladies who haven't been through it before as well.

Also, in a post covid world, it would be lovely to meet anyone local! ❤

@WingingIt2021 ah amazing. I’m literally 5 minutes from dartford

I’m 7+3 and Jesus the morning sickness is slowly killing me! God knows why they call it morning sickness when it lasts all day but I shouldn’t complain. So excited. How’s is yours going so far?xx

@July21Baby ah awesome where exactly?! We are super close then!
Ahh you are right in the core of morning sickness too. I'm only 5+3 so not much. Had cramping and very mild nausea right at the start but that has passed. Nipples are starting to get a bit sore but not much else. But most people say 6 weeks is where it all goes downhill so definitely ready for it 😂😂😂
Xx

Hello all and congratulations!

Am due July 23rd, @WingingIt2021 didn't realise there was a birthing centre in Greenwich, I did a quick google and only saw the Lewisham one. If there is one I'm changing from QE to the birthing centre.

Hello everyone!

Congratulations to you all! I'm in East London and coming up to 8 weeks in my first pregnancy. Luckily no sickness but having bad indigestion. Anyone have any tips?

I've registered with Homerton but finding it strange I won't have my first apt until 13 weeks, but maybe that's normal ? Smile

Hey @feistymumma ahh no sorry that is the one in QE! It is called Greenwich birthing centre. Is that where you are having yours? That is where I'm having mine!! Small world hey 😆 the QE one is meant to be much nicer than Lewisham. If you did want a birthing centre not attached to a hospital there is one in Canary Wharf, it is called Barkentine and looks Lovely!

@mrsstarmix hi! Homerton is meant to be really nice. You should have a booking appointment before your 12 week scan. Have you not had that apt though? Mine is in 2 weeks, when I'll be 7 weeks. It is an hour and a half!
For instgestion have you tried peppermint tea before bed?

I’m in Kent and due 1st July. First pregnancy and I’m so nervous about everything!

Report
mrsstarmix · 21/11/2020 21:58

@WingingIt2021 - I just checked their website and they it looks like they'll be doing the booking apt and 1st scan at the same time as they're trying to reduce apts due to covid. I guess it will be a long day!

Greenwich birthing centre looks great!

I am loving peppermint tea, I'm prob eating the wrong foods too but really lost my apatite - had Pringles for dinner Blush

Anyone have any cravings yet?

WingingIt2021 · 21/11/2020 22:08

@mrsstarmix ah okay. To be fair the first appointment is all form filling anyway I think so you're not missing out. Have you got a date for your scan? Mine is 14th Jan 😊 no cravings except wheatbix chocolate minis for breakfast every day. I cant get enough! How about you?
Do you liver quire near Homerton?

@WingingIt2021 this morning sickness is a killer, I can still eat and having actually liked puked. That feeling back when you used to go out, party too hard and need to get it all out at 3am, but constantly, worse when in evening! 9 weeks today so hopefully some respite coming up soon!

Report
WingingIt2021 · 21/11/2020 22:17
