@TiredAlreadyOhDear hey I'm due 14th/15th. This is my 1st too. I had an ectopic pregnancy in June so very anxious this time

@Hopefulmummie oh god I bet that was awful! Hopefully fingers crossed this time it all works out. Do you get any additional scans this time around to check how things are progressing? How are you feeling with this pregnancy symptoms wise? I honestly didn’t think I’d feel so tired!! X

I’m 5 weeks and 3 days and due in July but today I’m having the slightest bit of pink when I wipe. Is implantation likely to happen how? I’ve had one previous MMC and don’t want to freak out but also not sure if I should be concerned

I'm only 3 weeks according to NHS site so due end of July. We have been trying for a while so I tested early. Ive got a dull ache in my left abdomen which is annoying as now I'm over thinking everything 🙄 I feel frustrated with myself for finding out so early! First appt isnt until 21st Dec!

@TiredAlreadyOhDear I was told when I was in hospital that I would get an early scan but not cause of covid they aren't doing them unless I have symptoms so I had booked a private one at 8 weeks. Though my friend is a midwife and managed to get me booked in for a scan in epu on Friday. I'll be 6+2. I'm so nervous but rather know everything is ok.
I haven't had much symptoms and it worries me sometimes I've felt nauseous once or twice and had cramping on and off and have been so bloated. How are yours?

Had my 7.5 Ivf scan yday an all was well. Can’t explain how happy I am after having 3 losses in the last year all through private Ivf! Finally looking like we may be able to give our 5 year old a sibling! So happy xxx

@Lollipop87 I may actually join the Facebook page after all!! Xx

@AnxiousAnnie86 how you getting on? I feel SO nauseous now the last couple of days it’s really ramped up an have been sick a few times. The evenings are worse I can’t settle 🤢 I did wish for this!! Xx

@Hopefulmummie hopefully the scan will put your mind at ease and then let you enjoy the rest of your pregnancy.
I’m the same don’t really have many symptoms had a few pains and cramps last week but this week I’m mainly just a bit more tired than usual.
I have my booking in appointment on the 24th so hoping I’ll get to know more about what to expect in that!
I’m hoping after the 12 week mark I’ll relax a bit and start enjoying it xx

Just got my letter for my booking appointment and 12 week scan for 29th December:)

@TiredAlreadyOhDear that's good you have an appointment soon. I live in NI and we don't have a booking appointment until the 12 week scan

Has everyone had letters for their booking appointments? Mine has been organised through text so far which is fine but I only have a date and time and am aware that some people are having their booking appointments done by phone so didn’t know whether to expect face to face or phone appointment on that date?

Maybe you'll get a letter nearer the time? I got a letter about my booking in. The appointment is over the phone but I will have to have bloods taken at some point.

Can I join please? Found out yesterday so I'm 4 weeks and 1 day, due 27th July. My NHS Trust is all self referral so filled the online form in yesterday, got to around 2 weeks for them to contact me. Probably going to book a private scan mid December for peace of mind, it feels so surreal! Eek!

I've had mine. Exactly the same as with DC1 except I/they had masks on. Bloods taken, BP/height/weight all done as before. They don't do letters here, you're booked in by the midwife booking coordinator when you register (you just call them here).

I had my booking in appointment today over the phone. Had completed an online self referral last week and recieved a text to say it would be ok. They've said a midwife will arrange booking in bloods etc in the next few weeks.
Starting to feel real now. Nearly 7 wks, been feeling nauseous (or just starving!) All day, as this is my 5th pregnancy I'm starting to notice a bit of a bump (bloating). Scan on Monday....trying to contain myself until then.
Hadn't even figured out my due date....mìdwife told me it's 9th July ish.
Xx

I had to self refer. I’ve done the questionnaire part of my booking in appointment already over the phone (5+3 today).
Then I will get sent a form to book myself in for bloods and a face to face appointment following this at around 8w. Just waiting for the letter.

Morning how is everyone doing. @Blughbablugh thank you for setting this up. I was wondering what happened to the last thread. I finally have my booking in appointment over the phone tomorrow! Has anyone had it yet? Not sure how it will work as in my last pregnancy I was given my notes and my nhs prescription exemption form.

@Mctm123 hey lollipop hardly checks this. If you want to join the Facebook group drop me a DM so I can get you added. Also anyone else who wants to. It’s private and really friendly.

Congratulations to all of the new BFPS. Xx

Hello. Seems to be a duplicate thread so apologies but I'm going to repost on here to bump this one!

Got my positive result a week ago, now 4 weeks and 6 days. First pregnancy, came off the pill in June and, as I'm 40 in December and my mum had early menopause at 40, I really wasn't expecting anything to happen this quickly - if at all!

Having kids was also never part of my life plan until my partner opened my mind to it, so I'm sure I'll have a few freak-outs before it arrives!

So far I'm not experiencing any symptoms except a very faint touch of nausea some mornings... based on what some of you are saying I'm really not looking forward to it starting in earnest.

Congratulations @ginandtonic80. I’m almost 7 weeks and my only symptom is sore boobs. I do get occasional waves of sickness but nothing too crazy. This is my second child and with my first my symptoms were pretty mild. Xx

Hi all,
I’ve been lurking on the last thread for a while and thought I would finally take the plunge and join in. I’m currently 5+4 with my first and got my BFP less than a month after having the IUD removed so it all feels a bit surreal and much too good/quick to be true! Which makes me nervous but there’s not a lot that doesn’t at the moment...

@TiredAlreadyOhDear I’m due on the 18th and would love to buddy up. I’m currently feeling very tired/sleepy all the time (even for me, a naturally nap prone person), on and off nauseous mostly when hungry and of course the ubiquitous sore boobs (and yes guilty of prodding them for reassurance. The pregnant lady’s pinch me to check I’m not dreaming?!)

Booking in appointment on the 10th of December and finding this all a bit lonely as we’ve decided not to tell anyone until Christmas (although obviously still early to do so). @CC81 definitely agree about really struggling with the timings and whether or not to have an early scan for reassurance even though there’s no guarantee. None of this is good for the naturally anxious is it!?

Reading all your comments and symptoms has been so comforting, thank you. Congrats to everyone and my fingers are so tightly crossed for those that need it.

My people! How has this chat moved on so fast that you are already on to thread 2!

I found out almost two ago when I did a random OPK which came back very strong so I did a pregnancy test and it came back as a very faint positive. It is now a strong positive and the Clear blue has progressed on from 1-2wks to 2-3wks as of last week.

I believe I am due late July 2021 but I am not so sure. I took my last pill on 24th August, I then had what I thought was a period on 26th September and the beginning of cycle 1. Before the pill I was always quite regular at 28 day cycles so I worked with that but all pregnancy tests came back negative all the way throughout October. I decided this cycle wasn't to be and that I should just wait for next period and start again. I then missed a period in October but instinct told me to randomly check for ovulation on 6th November, it turned out I was also pregnant. I have lots of those cheap tests so I was randomly testing every few days which tells that ovulation and conception took place about 25th-28th October; which I actually thought was meant to be my next period. I remember DTD loads over that time in anticipation that I better get one more in before AF arrives. Sorry TMI

This one is our second DC.

Due 23rd July so am only 4+6 weeks today. Am super bloated, look about 6 months pregnant lol. Also not sleeping very well at all. Apart from that no other symptoms.

Planning to test on the weekend and if the CB digital has progressed to 3+ then we will book a private scan on Monday for when we’re 8 weeks: 12th Dec. Feels like forever away! In August when we had our private 9 week scan it turned out we’d had a MMC- so will be very nervous this time!

Think we will have an 8 and 10 week scan and then hopefully I’ll feel more reassured! Or maybe I’ll be a nervous wreck for the whole pregnancy, I don’t know...

6 weeks today and the last 2 days I have been feeling SO sick. Thank god I have been working from home, I basically worked from the sofa in my pjs all day.
Today I feel awful and tomorrow I have a 7am train to catch for a full day meeting that I cannot miss. Really stressing about how I'm going to cope!

How long did it take everyone to get their booking appointment? I filled in my online self referral nearly a week ago and haven't heard anything yet.
