I have my dating scan tommorow. When i went for my harmony test last week they said i was 10.3 so tommorow that would make me 11.5. Will they still be able to do checks or will i have to come back? Has anyone had a scan at 11.5 weeks. I know its only 2 days but just wondering if it affects getting the measurements etc
Thanks

I'm in the same position but even earlier! I have my 12 week scan this Thursday - my lmp puts me at 12+1 then but I know from tracking ovulation and a private scan that I will only be 10+6 but my midwife wasn't interested and insisted on going with the lmp dates!

From what I've read usually the nt checks etc can be done from 11+2 so you should be fine but I think if they can't do everything they book you in for a rescan a couple of weeks later Smile

I had my 12 week scan at 11+3. You are technically in your 12th week if you are 11+ so you wouldn't have to come back. They will do the scan and blood and urine test at this one scan.

The probably will be able to do it all but if they cant it's no bad thing as just means an extra free scan!

I had my dating scan with dd at 11 weeks exactly and with my son around 9/10 weeks (I had 6 week cycles so was dated 2 weeks behind and they didn't ask me to come back at 12 weeks)

Yes, it's not really called the 12 week scan but the dating scan, it can happen anywhere between 8 and 14 weeks - www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/dating-scan-ultrasound-10-11-12-13-weeks-pregnant/ Smile

I arrived at my 12 week scan thinking I was 12+3 but was measuring 11+5, so yes, exactly the same as you! Everything was fine and we got some lovey clear images. I'm now 14w tomorrow. Good luck!xx

I've had my scan today and told 11 weeks and asked to go back in 2 weeks because she couldn't see everything she wanted to. Didn't seem concerned at all, just said was too early to see everything she needed to fully date me.

Awh you'll be fine my first my dating scan they said I was only 10 weeks but ended up being changed at 20 weeks by over 2 weeks! Such small measurements matter in these early stages. This time round I was nearly 14 weeks at my '12 week scan' and they checked nothing different thqn what they did when I was 10 weeks the first time round!

Just to update this thread. There was a heartbeat Smile and a very lazy baby that refused to move. Sonographer couldnt get the measurements for neck as baby was in a very awkwrd position. I went in thinking i was 11.5 turns out im 12. 4 weeks. So now due end of May 😁

I've got my scan this week and although by LMP they would think I'm 13+ judging by my dates and ovulation I know I'll be 11 exactly or 11+1 maximum. Hoping it'll be ok for the NT measurements but if not I expect they'll just call me back a few weeks later?

Glad your scan went well OP!

Hi they couldn't get measurements as baby was lying in a awkward position so they told me to juat get the bloods done at 15 weeks. They didn't offer another scan Confused
