Hi all,
Just wanted some quick advice on this as I'm struggling to find the answer online! This is my first pregnancy so I'm clueless! I'm 19+6.
My work needs me to notify them of my pregnancy and give them the Mat1B no later than 15 weeks before the expected week of childbirth, so I believe that's week 25.
I need to have a C-section, and I'll get my appointment for that in January or February I think. But I guess it means my expected week of childbirth won't be week 40 but before? Does that mean I should notify them before week 25? My manager knows but this is more of the HR side of things.
I saw the midwife on Friday and she said it's too early to give me the Mat1B, and the midwife will give it at the next appointment, which is when I'm 25 weeks. I'm now concerned that I should tell them by week 23, and certainly by week 25, but I won't have the Mat1B until it's too late.
Is there any other way I can get hold of the Mat1B? When is the earliest I can get it?
Thank you!
